The Kansas District Court Public Access Portal is back onlne. Due to the October 12 cybersecurity incidentportal information is temporarily out of date

Visit Status of District Court Restoration to find out which courts have finished updating the Kansas eCourt case management system with new cases and documents filed while the system was offline. The page also lists which courts are operating on the Kansas eCourt case management system and the Kansas Courts eFiling system. 
 

Pay using public access portal

As Kansas courts transition to the Kansas eCourt case management system following the Kansas eCourt Statewide Rollout Plan, they will begin accepting online payments through the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal.  
 

Payment information in portal out of date

You may make payments to a court using the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal, but portal information about balances due may be out of date. The Central Payment Center in the Office of Judicial Administration continues to update the case management system with payments made while the sytem was offline. Courts on eCourt portal

Kansas eCourt Courts lists which courts are operating on the Kansas eCourt case management system. These courts accept payment through the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal.

The 10th Judicial District (Johnson County) has instructions for making payments online and by phone.
 

If you can't pay online

If you are unable to pay online for a case in a court that is on the eCourt portal, you may mail your payment to:

If you mail a payment, include:

  • name of party

  • case number

  • county

 

Pay in person

If you are unable to pay online, you may need to pay in person. To find contact information for a district court, visit District Courts.
