The Kansas judicial branch experienced a security incident that disrupted the information systems on which state courts operate.



Q: When will I be able to search court case information?

A: You may schedule an appointment to visit the Kansas Judicial Center to search district court case information. Searches must be done in person and by appointment. Visit: public access service center.


Q: I used a credit card to pay the court. Is my credit card information safe?

A: Yes. Kansas courts use third-party vendors to process credit card payments.

 

Q: I need to pay the court. How do I do that?

A: Courts are currently unable to accept electronic payments. You can pay the court in person or by U.S. mail. Contact the court you want to pay for more information.

Q: How do I apply for a marriage license?

A: You can apply for a marriage license in person at the courthouse.

 

Q: I paid a bond and it is due to be refunded to me. When will I get the money?

A: We are unable to make payments while our information systems are offline. This includes restitution and bond refunds.

 

Q: I am owed restitution and the defendant made a payment recently. When will I get the money?
