Request an Interpreter



Request a foreign language court interpreter 

Notify the language access coordinator for the judicial district that you need an interpreter. Do this as soon as possible or at least five working days before a scheduled court proceeding.

Request a sign language court interpreter 

Notify the the clerk of the district court that you need a sign language interpreter. Do this as soon as possible or at least five working days before a scheduled court proceeding.

Concerns and complaints 

If you have a concern or a complaint about a foreign language court interpreter, notify the language access corodinator for the judicial district.

Ethical complaints about sign language interpreters will be forwarded to the Kansas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
