Tips to get you started

For the best experience completing the training modules, we recommend that you:

  • use either Google Chrome or the Mozilla Firefox browser;

  • disable your pop-up blocker;

  • enlarge your module window for ideal viewing;

  • increase the audio using the control in the bottom right corner of the module window; and

  • increase the audio on your electronic device.

Module and YouTube controls

Each video slide has two player control bars. One controls the module and the other controls the YouTube player.

Closed captioning

To turn on closed captioning for videos within modules, select the CC icon in the bottom right corner of the YouTube player.

Slide transcripts

Each slide has a transcript of its audio in the Slide Notes.

To access a transcript, select the paper icon in the bottom right corner of the module window.

For transcripts of videos within modules, select the Table of Contents tab in the bottom left corner of the module window. Then select the Attachments tab.

To return to a module after you access a transcript, select the tab that precedes your current tab, which is highlighted in white. The tabs are in the upper left corner of the module window.

If you encounter problems

Here are some things to try if you have trouble playing a module:

  • make sure your pop-up blocker has been turned off;

  • make sure you are using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox;

  • if you get an error after a module begins to play, try again using a different browser; and

  • if you have a problem with audio, ask your computer or information technology specialist to check your electronic device and speaker system.
