You and the Courts of Kansas - Judicial Administrator

The Kansas judicial system with more than 240 judges and 1,500 nonjudicial employees requires a central administrative staff to assure effective and responsive operation.

Nancy Maydew Dixon has been judicial administrator since March 2011. The Judicial Administrator is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the chief justice. The administrator is responsible for implementing the rules and policies of the Supreme Court as they apply to the operation and administration of the courts.

The staff of the Office of Judicial Administration perform duties related to fiscal operations, personnel management, education, statistical caseload information, public information, court services, and many other administrative matters involving the trial and appellate courts.
